you can helpWe want and need your help. If you value our cemeteries and would like to lend a hand, here are some ways that you can do just that. Current projects. - Come visit your family plot on our annual Cemetery Day, the first Saturday in June. See last year's event poster. - Help with a volunteer Work Bee. We hope to do this again next year, if Covid-19 will let us. See the event poster from last year. - contractor work for completion of fencing around the old St. Anne's (Blairmore Catholic) Cemetery is almost finished! - We've completed an inventory of damaged and leaning headstones in each cemetery, and have commenced repairs to the older (100+ years) stones in partnership with the Municipality and Fantin's Funeral Chapel. This is a long, slow process by volunteers, which is expected to take years. Join us! We'd love to have you with us. Ask us about membership, meeting dates, and details on upcoming work bees. Fund us! Donations are essential to our existence. Most donations receive tax receipts. Talk to us! If you are a cemetery plot owner, we'd love to chat about helping out with maintenance. Visit us! Come enjoy one of our many beautiful cemeteries, and see why we are so concerned. You can contact the Crowsnest Pass Memorial Society by emailing Irene Shafer.
